Terms of use

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Domenico Amalfitano, Rome, Italy, the maker of kin. By using kin you accept them.

What kin does

kin creates images from a portrait you provide: an imagined ancestor, a future version of you, or an imagined descendant. Results are created by artificial intelligence. They are interpretations — imagined people — and not historical, genealogical, medical or genetic records.

Who can use kin

You must be at least 16 years old and able to agree to these terms. You need an Apple account to sign in.

Your results

Subject to these terms and the law, you may use the images kin creates for you for any personal or commercial purpose. Because results are generated by AI, similar images may be created for other people, and we cannot guarantee that a result is unique or free of third-party rights. Read Copyright and content for details.

Availability

We work to keep kin available, but it depends on third-party services and may sometimes be interrupted or changed. We may update or discontinue features; if we discontinue kin Pro, you can cancel through Apple.

Liability

kin is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how results are interpreted or used. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Apple

These terms apply together with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for kin or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.

Ending your use

You can stop using kin and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country. Questions: support@kinaiapp.xyz.
